Non-Surgical Body Contouring in Baton Rouge, LA
The future of body contouring has arrived. Targeted. Natural. Lasting.
Have you put in the work but still want more shape? Maybe you've reached your weight loss goals and lost volume in places you wanted to keep. Or maybe you've been told you don't have enough fat for a traditional fat transfer.
At Ford Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, we offer alloClae™, the first non-surgical body contouring solution designed to increase volume naturally. Made from purified fat tissue, alloClae™ adds immediate, natural-looking volume precisely where you want it, with no liposuction, no implants and minimal downtime.
What Is alloClae?
alloClae™ is the first non-surgical body contouring solution designed to increase volume naturally. It's made from sterilized, donor-derived fat tissue that has been minimally processed and purified, so it can be applied anywhere fat naturally exists in your body.
Throughout your body, structural fat gives you natural volume and shape. It keeps your skin looking firm and your contours smooth. As we age, our collagen and fat production slows down, and after pregnancy or significant weight loss, volume can disappear from the very places we want it most. Until now, the options for putting that volume back have been limited to implants or a fat transfer using your own fat.
How alloClae Works
Dr. Chiasson places alloClae just beneath the skin in the areas you've planned together. Because it's ready to use, there's no liposuction to harvest fat from another part of your body first. The volume is immediate, so you can see a difference the same day.
Here's what makes alloClae different:
Natural composition: about 60% intact fat cells and 40% extracellular matrix (ECM), the natural framework that supports tissue. Processing preserves the tissue's native structure.
Built for lasting results: the ECM contains naturally occurring growth factors and is rich in collagen, elastin and laminin compared to raw fat tissue.
Smooth, natural feel: formulated with less than 2% free oil, which helps minimize the risk of cyst formation.
Processed for safety: sterilized, with donor DNA reduced below the immunogenicity threshold to lower the chance of an immune reaction.
Targeted. Natural. Lasting.
Body contouring without surgery.
alloClae vs. Traditional Fat Transfer
With a traditional fat transfer, fat is first removed from areas like your abdomen or thighs with liposuction, purified, then transferred to the area you want to enhance. That's a wonderful option for many patients, and it slims the donor area too. But it requires a surgical harvest and a second area to recover from, and it only works if you have enough fat to spare.
alloClae™ skips the harvest entirely. That makes it a great option if you'd prefer to avoid surgery, are naturally lean or athletic, or have lost the extra fat a fat transfer would need. For patients who want a larger change, Dr. Chiasson may recommend combining approaches or a surgical option, and she'll talk through all of it with you at your consultation.
Pair alloClae and Avéli For A Smoother, Fuller Shape
alloClae pairs beautifully with Avéli™, our minimally invasive cellulite treatment. Each one addresses a different concern, so together they can do more than either one alone.
Avéli smooths: cellulite dimples form when fibrous bands beneath the skin pull it downward. Avéli is an FDA-cleared, one-time treatment that releases those bands to reduce the appearance of cellulite on the buttocks and thighs.
alloClae shapes: once the surface is smoother, alloClae restores lost volume and adds natural shape, such as softening hip dips or adding gluteal projection.
The result is a buttock and thigh area that looks both smoother and fuller. Dr. Chiasson will help you decide whether to combine the two treatments and how to time them for the best results.
What are the Benefits of alloClae?
Most patients aren't looking for a dramatic transformation. They want to look like themselves, just a little more balanced and refined. That's exactly where alloClae™ shines.

What to Expect During Your Treatment
Any procedure can bring a little anxiety, so we want you to know exactly what to expect. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way.
Consultation: Dr. Chiasson will talk with you about your goals, examine the areas of concern, and decide with you whether alloClae is the right fit. She'll recommend how much volume to use and where, and you'll receive a personalized quote.
Treatment day: The treatment areas are marked and we make sure you're comfortable. Dr. Chiasson then places alloClae beneath the skin in small, precise amounts to sculpt a smooth, natural shape.
Right after: You'll see added volume immediately. Most patients go home the same day.
Recovery
One of the biggest benefits of alloClae is how little downtime it requires. Because there's no liposuction, there's no donor area to heal. You may notice some swelling, bruising, tenderness or temporary skin discoloration at the treatment site, which typically fades as you heal.
You'll receive clear aftercare instructions, and our team is always available if you have questions while you heal. Please call our office right away if you notice increasing pain, redness, warmth or swelling.

Yes. alloClae is made from fat tissue generously given by tissue donors, much like the donated tissue surgeons have used for years in procedures like ACL repair and breast reconstruction. Before it ever reaches my office, the tissue goes through donor screening, testing, purification and sterilization. alloClae contains no living cells, and processing reduces donor DNA below the level known to trigger an immune response.
-
alloClae is sterilized and processed to keep DNA below the immunogenicity threshold, which reduces the chance of an immune reaction. It's also formulated with less than 2% free oil to minimize the risk of cysts. Like any procedure, there is a possibility of complications, although not everyone experiences them. These can include cysts or nodules, pain or infection, hematoma, allergic or immune responses including anaphylaxis, and skin discoloration at the treatment site. I'll review your health history carefully to make sure it's a safe choice for you.

A traditional fat transfer uses your own fat, which means liposuction first. alloClae is ready to use, so there's no harvest, no second area to recover from, and no need to have extra fat to spare. It's a great fit if you're lean, have lost weight, or simply want to avoid surgery.
-
No. Traditional dermal fillers are typically made from synthetic or gel-based materials and are designed for small areas like the face. alloClae is natural fat tissue, which allows it to provide volume, structure and cushioning in larger areas of the body where fat naturally exists.
-
alloClae is designed for lasting results. Early clinical experience shows stable results in breast, hip and gluteal treatments, and the natural extracellular matrix in alloClae is believed to support long-term integration with your own tissue. Because it's a newer treatment, long-term data is still being gathered, and individual results vary. Some patients choose a touch-up to fine-tune their shape.
-
Right away. Volume is visible immediately after treatment. Your final, settled shape becomes clearer as swelling and any bruising fade over the following weeks.
-
Yes, hip dips are one of the most popular uses for alloClae. By adding volume to the indentation along the side of the hips, I can create a smoother, more continuous curve from your waist to your thighs.
-
alloClae can add targeted, subtle volume to the breasts, improve cleavage and balance asymmetry, all without implants. If you want a larger increase in cup size, breast augmentation may be a better fit, and we can talk through both options.
-
Yes. alloClae can add a layer of natural cushioning over areas where implant rippling or wrinkling is visible, and it can smooth contour irregularities after breast surgery or reconstruction.
-
It may be. Many patients who've lost weight, whether through diet, exercise or medications like Ozempic or Wegovy, lose volume in their buttocks, hips or breasts and no longer have extra fat for a traditional fat transfer. alloClae can restore that volume without surgery. If you also have loose skin, I may recommend combining alloClae with a skin-tightening or lifting procedure.
-
alloClae is a cosmetic treatment, so it is generally not covered by insurance. Our team is happy to talk with you about payment and financing options.
-
alloClae should not be used if you have severe allergen sensitivities, a history of anaphylaxis, or an active infection. I'll review your full medical history during your consultation.
