What’s in a name?
As a child of two physician parents I have always felt drawn to a career in medicine. Growing up making weekend rounds in the burn unit with my dad or meeting happy patients of my mom’s around town gave me quick insight into what an honor and privilege it is to be a physician and surgeon. As I began to envision my own future as a doctor I could only picture one thing: having my own practice in Baton Rouge, just like each of my parents did.
